The Hunger strike in Ottawa surpassed its 40th day

The Iranian-Canadians in Ottawa have been on a hunger strike to protest the brutal attack of the Iraqi forces on an unarmed camp Ashraf where was under the protection of the USA until recently. The Iraqi forces killed 11, wounded more than 500 and took 36 hostages. The Iranian-Canadians have been on a hunger strike for 40 days now and demand that the hostages are freed immediately. Since Thursday 3 women who have been on hunger strike were rushed to the hospital. For 2 of them it was their second visit to the hospital. The rest of hunger strikers don’t have good situations either. They suffer from chest pain to dizziness, low blood sugar…
